About Me
After 10 years of working as a Paralegal, I finally decided to follow my passion in baking and go to pastry school. I fell in love even more with what was once my hobby and changed careers in that moment. From then on, I’ve gone on to work in bakeries, restaurants and catering. I’ve learned from talented pastry chefs and since have started my own venture, and Cori’s Confectioneries was born.
My Story
I have always loved baking, and putting my creativity to work. Mostly making pies and cakes for friends and family over the years.
2018
Although I loved baking, I knew that I could improve my skills, and wanted to expand my abilities in the pastry world. I enrolled in pastry school. This solidified my love and pasion for baking, and gave me the extra confidence I was looking for which landed me jobs in bakeries, restaurants and catering businesses. I have learned over the years from talended pastry chefs, and apply those learnings with my own personal creative touch.
Now
After recently moving to North Carolina, it was time to venture out on my own and become the creative custom baker I have always wanted to be. Because of the wide variety of baked goods I am able to offer, Cori’s Confectioneries was born in 2022. I look forward to baking your custom cakes, pies, cookies, pastries, and other sweet treats.
